Investment Bank and Asset Manager, Armillary Private Capital, has today announced that it will introduce an equity crowdfunding platform for New Zealand businesses. New laws allowing equity raising through crowdfunding came into effect earlier this month.
Armillary will be offering its equity crowdfunding platform under a joint-venture with UK-based Crowdcube. Crowdcube has been in operation for three years, raising more than £21 million from 66,000 investors. Its equity crowdfunding platform, which also operates in Sweden, is also planning to launch in Spain, Brazil, Dubai, Poland and Italy and soon New Zealand.
