FundedByMe was created in Stockholm, Sweden, in March 2011 to address the need for a user-friendly crowdfunding solution for European entrepreneurs and everyday investors.

FundedByMe offers several methods of crowdfunding, including Equity, Loan, and Reward-based crowdfunding, to investors and entrepreneurs.

The platform has a major focus on cross-border investments and has offices in the following countries:

  • Germany

Deal Flow

FundedbyMe provides investors access to European startups and small businesses. It offers both equity and debt-based investments.

For Equity Investors

  • Typically invest between €100 and €100,000.
  • Receive equity stake in the company
  • Anyone living outside of the United States can invest in an equity campaign on FundedByMe.

For Debt Investors (Lenders)

  • Typically loans between €25 and €25,000.
  • Gets yearly interest, percentage of the profit and a possible exit bonus. (Hybrid securities)
  • Anyone can loan money to a crowdlending campaign on FundedByMe.
