Invesdor is an open equity-based crowdfunding platform in Northern Europe. It provides an online investment matching service where entrepreneurs looking to raise equity financing can easily connect with investors who are seeking to discover and invest in exciting new startups and growth companies from Northern Europe.
Invesdor’s roots date back to 2011. It started with six friends – Lasse, Miikka, Petteri, Timo, Jouni, and Lare – who were working on a startup together as a weekend pastime. The startup was called Brainshop, a service specializing in creative works crowdsourced from freelance designers.
Since its founding Invesdor has raised ~$2M for startups on its platform.

There is an experienced team behind the organization and/or the company is 2–5 years old with existing results. The company has clear further growth potential and the team has a strong will to gain profitable and fast business growth in the future.
The fee for investors depends on the payment method. Finnish investors are able to use Payment Trust Finland Ltd’s (Suomen Maksuturva Oy) payment gateway for the payments. In this payment method a fee of 1 EUR + VAT is paid to Payment Trust Finland Ltd (non-refundable). Finnish Investors are also able to request an invoice for payments. Billing fee for the invoice is 10 EUR + VAT.
Investors outside of Finland are charged an Administration fee for using an invoice. The administration fee is 2.42% of the invested amount + VAT (max 300 EUR per investment).

With more than 15 years of experience working in finance, banking and building businesses, Lasse brings solid financial and capital raising experience to Invesdor.
Beginning his career as an investment banker in London (Merrill Lynch), Lasse was involved in various capital raising initiatives, stock exchange listings and company mergers and acquisitions. From Merrill Lynch, Lasse moved on to became a partner in Icecapital Securities (Helsinki) specialising in capital raising and acquisition projects. After eight years in investment banking, Lasse moved to KONE Corporation, where he was responsible for company acquisitions and alliances. Recently Lasse was part of Consti Groups' management group, with responsibility for acquisitions, finance and business development.
Lasse has a BSc from the Cass Business School (City University, London) and an Executive MBA from Helsinki School of Economics.

Timo is a legal counsel to high growth companies, business angels and private equity investors on areas including financing rounds, transactions, corporate law and IPR.
In 2006, after having worked for several years as a lawyer specialising in technology companies, equity investments and corporate acquisitions, Timo joined Fondia, a start-up company offering a new approach to corporate legal services.
Timo is also a board member to several startup and growth companies and acts as the Chairman of the Boardman 2020, a network which supports Finnish startups and the development of a pro-business culture in Finland.
Timo combined legal studies at the Helsinki University (LLM) with business studies at Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (BSc (Econ)).

Jouni has more than 15 years of experience on designing and implementing information management systems. He has been involved with the implementation and management of complex IT systems in sectors spanning banking and insurance, manufacturing and consumer products.
Over the last ten years, Jouni has helped large-cap corporations develop business intelligence and analytics technology projects, first as a senior consultant at the SAS Institute and then as an entrepreneur.
Jouni is a partner and co-founder of the fast growing Finnish consulting company Avarea, which specialises in information management and business analytics.
